WHAT IS BRIGHT GREEN FUTURE?
Bright Green Future (BGF) is a free, three-month leadership and empowerment programme for 16-19-year-olds in the UK.
Since 2016, more than 300 Bright Green Future students have gained the skills, confidence, and connections for a career supporting a clean energy future. Join our programme to unlock your potential as an energy system leader.
We're particularly focussed on young people of colour. We want to tackle the current underrepresentation of people of colour in careers with climate impact in the UK.

By 2030 we envision that:

Bright Green Future will have contributed to the better representation of young people of colour in careers with a positive environmental impact.

The diverse voices of Bright Green Future students, past and present, are influencing policy and decision-making locally and nationally.

Bright Green Future is a rich network of 600+ highly skilled, confident and successful professionals whose careers are having a major impact on the UK’s transition to net-zero.

The Bright Green Future Alumni Network is an influential professional network providing support, learning and career opportunities for Bright Green Future graduates.

The UK is on an achievable path to net zero emissions and the views of young people from all backgrounds are being heard by policymakers.
